Ms. Ross works with vocalists, pianists, choral groups, theater ensembles, and beginning musicians to develop singing and speaking techniques, music theory, piano skills, musicality, and performance preparation skills. In addition to her private studio Maddy teaches voice at Reed College and has taught voice, theater, and choir at First Presbyterian Church, Resound NW: A Place to Sing, and Northwest Children's Theater, in Portland, OR. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Willamette University and a Master of Music degree in Opera Performance from the Longy School of Music of Bard College. She performs as a soloist and ensemble members with Portland Opera, Resonance Ensemble, The Oregon Symphony, Eugene Opera, Renegade Opera, and more.
